The Maker's Mark information was incorrect. I have contacted the manufacturer numerous times and they will not respond to my request for the calorie information. If anyone out there can get it directly from them I will re-list. Thanks!

Maker's Mark used to be #1 but now it is gone from the list. Was the information incorrect and it isn't actually #1 or was it just deleted by accident?

Who drinks 12 oz of Everclear? You would drink a shot (2 oz), so the calories would be 300 per serving rather than 1800. I think the calories per 12 oz should be calories per drink.

An ABV to Carb ratio would be greatly appreciated since carbohydrates and calories work very differently in the human body.

Why is there not a larger selection of Vodka, especially Russian? Vodka is to Russia what wine is to the French, and whiskey is to the Scots and Irish. Please Consider "Russian Standard"!

Don't know if it's been suggested before, but price to calorie and price to alcohol volume ratios would be much appreciated for those of us looking to drink on the cheap.

The issue with alcohol and and getting fat is that your body rapidly stores all food your are digesting to the closest available storage. Welcome the beer gut. Also Alcohol itself is a sugar and releases insulin and insulin is the only hormone for storing fat. So if you drink alcohol you store fat. The lower the alcohol content the less fat you gain.

That's an ingenious idea! One thing, though - I guess it would be an easy task to implement a simple sorting mechanism?

Anyways - Great!

Rather than have all drinks related with 12 oz sizes, why not relate drinks by what they are, drinks. AKA one shot=one beer= one mixed drink. then u could allow active sorting by both calories and amount of alcohol

Is there a way to sort this list so we can see the drinks listed by ABV or calories?
another cool feature this site could use is a list of drunken activities that will burn off the calories, for example:
you will have to run from the cops for 25 mins to burn off one Mickeys 40oz
or
you will have to ride your fixie bike 18 miles to burn off that sixer of PBR
or
you will have to shag six desperate house wives to burn off that box of Franzia
or
you will need to hold your leg up in the air for 35 mins to burn off 6 Capt. Morgan shots
or
you will have to bar fight three angry men and dry heave in the parking lot for 20 mins to burn off the 5th of Jameson
etc.

just some ideas.

My sugestion would be for 'what to order' in a bar.
People hardly drink straight vodka when they're out, however vodka + diet coke is low in calorie and still get you drunk.
I was wondering about Gin + Slimline Tonic.

One small nit-pick. it's Newcastle Brown not New Castle. (or if you're on Tyneside, Nooky Broon).
